Black Paper was established is 2015 by queer disabled fiber artist and craftivist Kate Hart (she/her). Although Kate creates in many other mediums her main focus is crochet. Creating clothing, wall art, amigurumi, soft furnishings and much more using non animal fiber and upcyled clothing. All Kate’s creations are made freehand or from patterns that she has created herself.
Kate is passionate about activism and this is reflected in much of her work. She also uses her shop to raise money for charities.
